Background HistóricosEl Instituto Tecnológico del Cibao, ITECO, was created by act of founding on Wednesday 10 February 1982, by Pro-Development Board of the province of Sanchez Ramirez, a state entity created by Decree No. 1206 of September 27 , 1979, to manage the 5% of the net benefits obtained Rosario Dominicana mining company located in Pueblo Viejo, Cotuí.
